Dr. Jan Grotheer, the President of the German-Japanese Association of Jurists visited Japan in September, 2019.

On September 30, Dr. Grotheer, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Philipp Osten of Keio University, visited the Supreme Court of Japan to pay a courtesy call on Chief Justice OTANI Naoto. They exchanged greetings and discussed several issues of mutual interest.
