Participants of “Japan-Germany Constitutional Conversation” visited Japan in September, 2019.

On September 17, they visited the Supreme Court of Japan.

Justice Prof. Dr. Gabriele Britz of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, Prof. Dr. Matthias Jestaedt of the University of Freiburg and Prof. Dr. Ralf Poscher of the Max Planck Institute for foreign and international criminal law paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice OTANI Naoto, Justice YAMAGUCHI Atsushi and Justice HAYASHI Michiharu of the Supreme Court of Japan. They exchanged greetings and discussed several issues of mutual interest.
