Visit by Vietnam IP Leadership Training Program Participants
On January 25, 2016, the participants in the Vietnam IP Leadership Training Program (11 participants including Vice President Phan Ngan Son of the National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam) visited the IP High Court as part of their training program, which aims to both study about the measures taken by the Japanese government entities engaged in combating infringement of IP rights and learn about how the Japanese government entities collaborate with other countries and rights holders.
After touring the IP High Court and attending a trial, they received from Chief Judge Ryuichi Shitara and other judge of the IP High Court explanations on trial proceedings and an outline of IP litigations in Japan, and engaged in an active question-and-answer session on a wide variety of interests.
