Visit by Participants in 2018 JPO/IPR Training Course
On November 27, 2018, trainees of the JPO/IPR Training Course for IP Protection Lawyers (27 lawyers and other legal practitioners who deal with intellectual property rights from Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) visited the IP High Court.
After an explanation from Judge Toshihiko Terada of the Third Division of the IP High Court on the outline of the IP High Court and IP litigation in Japan, the trainees toured a courtroom and visited the office of judicial research officials. After the tour, Judge Aya Takahashi of the same division joined the party, and the trainees and judges had an active Q&A session.
