Presiding Judge Yoshiyuki Mori of the Second Division of the IP High Court attended “Global Series 2018,” hosted by the Federal Circuit Bar Association of the U.S.A. from October 10 to 12, 2018 in Ottawa, Canada.
Presiding Judge Yoshiyuki Mori participated as a speaker in the panel discussion on appellate court proceedings held in the morning of the second day together with Judge Lourie and Judge Reyna of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Judge Stratas of the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada, and introduced and explained about appellate court proceedings in Japan and the system for utilizing expert knowledge.
