On October 10, 2018, Professor Christoph Ann of the Technical University of Munich and Professor Yuko Kimijima from the Graduate School of Law at Keio University together paid a courtesy call on Chief Judge Makiko Takabe of the IP High Court. Professor Ann and Chief Judge Takabe exchanged information on such topics as the interchange of judges between Germany and Japan and the agenda for the Munich International Patent Law Conference scheduled for next summer.
