On April 16, 2019, IP High Court Chief Judge Makiko Takabe visited the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She exchanged opinions with USPTO Vice Chief Administrative Patent Judge Scott C. Weidenfeller and Deputy Chief Administrative Patent Judge Jacqueline Wright Bonilla with regard to various topics including the current status of the post-grant opposition procedures and the employment status of patent administrative judges.
