Participation in International Conference at Fordham University

Judge Yoshiaki Shibata of the Tokyo District Court participated in the 27th Annual Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference held at the Law School of Fordham University in New York, the United States, from April 25 to 26, 2019.
The Conference is a large-scale international event on intellectual property law and policies held on the initiative of Professor Hugh C. Hansen of the Fordham Law School, and discussion sessions are held separately on various topics concerning patent law, copyright law and other intellectual property laws and related policies. This year, it was attended by a large number of people from around the world, including judges, government officials, lawyers, and researchers engaging in work in the area of intellectual property law and related policies.
Judge Shibata participated in the discussion session on copyright law as a panelist.
