Scheduled Holding of International Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property(provisional name) 2017
The IP High Court will host the International Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property (provisional name) 2017 in which judges and other people from the Asian region participate from Monday, October 30, 2017 to Wednesday, November 1, 2017. The purpose of the Symposium is to improve the capacity to solve IP-related disputes in entire Asia by sharing a common understanding and awareness of legal systems and challenges in relation to the solution on IP-related disputes.
The IP High Court is preparing to hold the Symposium with the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice, the Japan Patent Office, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations and the IP Lawyers Network Japan and plans to hold mock trials for the respective countries under the theme of gathering evidence in patent litigation on the first day of the Symposium.
