On July 3, 2015, Mr. Koh Young Hoe, President of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association, Mr. Jeong-Ho Shin, International Director of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association and three others, visited the IP High Court.

President Mr. Koh and others asked many questions such as: the structure of the IP High Court; measures to enhance expert knowledge and skills of the judges; the significance of implementing an exclusive jurisdiction for this court; the contents of Grand Panel cases and the procedure for invitations of public opinion (Japanese Amicus Curiae) held in one of those cases; and the status of activities of patent attorneys who have been granted the supplementary note registration to act as counsel for specific infringement lawsuits. Chief Judge Ryuichi Shitara and a judge of the IP High Court responded to the questions, explaining these matters.
