The Centre for Intellectual Property & Information Law (CIPIL) at University of Cambridge, England

On April 7, 2014, Chief Judge Ryuichi Shitara of the Intellectual Property High Court visited the Centre for Intellectual Property & Information Law (“CIPIL”) at University of Cambridge, England. On the same day, the Centre held a workshop entitled, “Understanding IP, Engaging With Its Future” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Centre’s establishment, which the Chief Judge attended. Prior to attending the workshop, Chief Judge Shitara exchanged opinions with Professor Bill Cornish, the Emeritus Herchel Smith Professor of intellectual property law at the University’s Faculty of Law, and Dr. Kathleen Liddell, a lecturer in intellectual property law at the same faculty, who are also members of the CIPIL.
