On December 6, 2005, Judge Seol Beom Shik of the Patent Court of Korea visited the IP High Court. Judges of the IP High Court explained to him about the background to the establishment of the IP High Court in Japan, the utilization of expert commissioners, and the handling of Grand Panel cases, and exchanged opinions with him about the current situation of intellectual property suits in Japan and Korea.
