On April 16, 2008, a delegation of the AIPLA visited the IP High Court and had a meeting with judges thereof. At the meeting, a presentation entitled "Inventive Step in Japan" from the IP High Court and a presentation entitled "Injunctions after eBay v. MercExchange, LLC" from the AIPLA were made. The participants lively discussed issues raised by the presentations, and the meeting was very informative for both sides.
