On March 17, 2009, a delegation from the Intellectual Property Rights Tribunal of the Higher People’s Court of Beijing, led by leader Judge Zhang Bing, visited the IP High Court.

The delegation members received a welcoming greeting from Chief Judge Tomokatsu Tsukahara of the IP High Court, and then heard an explanation from the judges of the Court about the outline of the Court as well as the distinctive points of the procedures for dealing with intellectual property cases in Japan, especially patent-related issues. Following this, there was an active question-and-answer session, and then the delegation members eagerly looked around the courtrooms and other facilities in the Court.
