Delegation of American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Visits IP High Court
On April 20, 2009, a delegation of the AIPLA visited the IP High Court and had a meeting with the judges thereof. Several presentations were made at the meeting: "Recent Situation of Patent Litigation in Japan" by the IP High Court, and "Recent Decisions of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit," "Reexamination Made More Useful by Federal Circuit Decisions" and "Exhaustion of Patent Rights" by the AIPLA. The delegation and the judges participated in some lively discussions and a Q&A session for about two hours. The meeting was very informative for both sides.
