On September 8, 2011, a delegation of the AIPLA visited the IP High Court and engaged in a meeting with the judges thereof to exchange views. The judges of the IP High Court gave a presentation entitled "Recent Revision to the Japanese Patent Act," while representatives of the AIPLA gave presentations entitled "Recent Reform of the U.S. Patent Act" and "Recent Trends of the U.S. Supreme Court Decisions." Subsequently, the delegation and the judges engaged in a lively Q&A session. The meeting was very informative for both sides.
