Judges of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, CAFC visited Japan and participated in the Joint Judicial Conference on Japan and U.S. Intellectual Property Rights
On October 26 and 27, 2011, the Joint Conference on Japan and U.S. Intellectual Property Rights was held in the Tokyo. The Conference was attended by the Honourable Chief Judge, Tetsuhiro Nakano, and other judges residing over intellectual property cases in the Intellectual Property High Court and Tokyo / Osaka District Court. Watched by a large audience of practitioners, patent attorneys, and relevant company representatives, panel discussions and mock trials were held with the Honourable Randall R Rader, Chief Judge, the Honourable Arthur J Gajarsa, Circuit Judge, the Honourable Richard Linn, Circuit Judge, the Honourable Timothy B Dyk, Circuit Judge, the Honourable Sharon Prost, Circuit Judge, and the Honourable Kimberly A Moore, Circuit Judge from the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, CAFC who came to Japan, deepening their friendship and conducting a lively exchange of opinions on topics such as intellectual property trials in Japan and the United States.
