On June 26, 2013, Justice S. Ravindra Bhat from the High Court of Delhi, India visited the IP High Court and met and exchanged views with Chief Judge Toshiaki Iimura of the IP High Court. During their meeting, while Justice Bhat provided information on the status of IP litigation in India, Chief Judge Iimura explained various systems concerning IP litigation, including an outline of the IP High Court.

Justice Bhat attended the Japan-India IP Litigation Seminar held by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) on June 27, and gave a presentation entitled “INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN INDIA : PROTECTION & INFORCEMENT” In this seminar, Judge Shigeru Osuga of the Tokyo District Court (IP Division) also gave a presentation entitled “Outline of IP Litigation Proceedings in Japan” and participated in a panel discussion with Justice Baht.
