A total of 15 judges from the Republic of Indonesia, including Mr. Iwan Anggoro Warsita, Vice Chief Judge of the West Jakarta District Court, visited the IP High Court on July 17, 2025. This was part of the 20th training program under legal technical assistance to Indonesia conducted by JICA and the Research and Training Institute of the Ministry of Justice.
The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Chief Judge HONDA Tomonari, followed by a tour of the courtroom and other facilities of the Business Court. Later, Presiding Judge NAKADAIRA Ken, Judge MIZUNO Masanori, and Judicial Research Official MATSUO Shunsuke of the IP High Court, as well as Judge HOSOI Naoaki of the Tokyo District Court, gave lectures. The subjects of the lectures included the following: an overview of the IP High Court; procedures for handling intellectual property litigation; and the system of IP judicial research officials. These were followed by a lively question and answer session covering each subject.
