On September 18, 2025, Mr. Jean-Christophe Troussel, the President of Licensing Executives Society International, visited our offices with three other people, including Ms. HASHIMOTO Chikako, Patent Attorney and the President of LES Japan.

　Licensing Executives Society International is a non-profit international organization composed of 33 regional societies around the world, whose members include practitioners and researchers involved in intellectual property licensing and general technical cooperation.

　President Troussel received an explanation on the characteristics of intellectual property litigation in Japan, exchanged opinions about issues including initiatives for disclosure and English translation of judgments and international exchange activities of the Intellectual Property High Court with Chief Judge HONDA Tomonari, Judge ITO Kiyotaka and Judge AMANO Kenji, and then took a tour of the court.
