On May 24 and 27, 2021, judges of the IP High Court gave lectures to the international students under the WCO (World Customs Organization) Scholarship Program (21 customs officials from 16 countries around the world).
The lectures were given online by Judge MANABE Mihoko on May 24 and Judge UEDA Takuya on May 27. These lectures covered a wide range of topics, including an outline of the IP High Court, the management of proceedings of IP-related litigation, active use of expert knowledge, the average time required for proceedings, information dissemination via the court's website, and international exchange. After the lectures, the students engaged in active question-and-answer sessions.
