• On December 1, 2023, Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke from the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware visited the IP High Court, together with Professor Christoph Rademacher from Waseda University.
  Magistrate Judge Burke received an explanation on the history of the IP High Court and the characteristics of patent litigation in Japan, such as the use of an explanatory session and technical advisors, and exchanged opinions with the judges of the IP High Court regarding topics including how to acquire expert knowledge and practices in attempting settlement. Afterward, Magistrate Judge Burke toured the building of the Business Court, including the courtroom.
