• On September 25, 2024, seven officers, including President Shaohui Yuan, of the Licensing Executive Society China (LES China) visited the Intellectual Property High Court of Japan, together with three officers, including President Hashimoto Chikako, a patent attorney, of the Licensing Executives Society Japan (LES Japan). They exchanged views with IP High Court Judges and took a tour of courtrooms.
  LES Japan and LES China are both members of the 33 national and regional societies that constitute the Licensing Executives Society International, an international society concerning intellectual property.
  Participants received explanations on the characteristics of Japan's intellectual property litigation and exchanged views on international trends concerning standard essential patents with Chief Judge Honda Tomonari, Judge Toyama Atsushi, and Judge Amano Kenji.
