• On January 17, 2025, trainees participating in the JPO/IPR Training Program (Administrative Trial Course) (18 practitioners engaging in affairs regarding IP-related trials and appeals in Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) visited the IP High Court. After taking a tour of the court building, the trainees received an explanation under the theme of "roles and current situations of the IP High Court" from Judge RAI Shinichi of the IP High Court, and an explanation on IP cases and roles of judicial research officials from Judicial research official HIGASHI Hiroko of the IP High Court. An active question-and-answer session was held with the trainees regarding IP and related lawsuits in Japan.
