On January25, Deputy Chief Justice Pham Quoc Hung and professors in charge of training for judges from Vietnam paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice TOKURA Saburo.

Deputy Chief Justice Hung stated that the judiciary of Vietnam was working to improve juvenile law and to strengthen human resource development, appreciating the achievements of the legal technical assistance provided by Japan. Chief Justice TOKURA emphasized the importance of strengthening human resource development, which is the foundation of the judiciary, touching some stories of his past visit to Vietnam.
