On May 12, Mr. Prasitsak Meelarp, Vice-President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, visited the Supreme Court of Japan to pay a courtesy call on Chief Justice TOKURA Saburo and Justice MIYAMA Takuya.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice-President Prasitsak praised the close judicial exchanges between both countries. Chief Justice TOKURA responded, “It is a great pleasure to welcome Vice-President Prasitsak on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation”.

After Vice-President Prasitsak, Chief Justice TOKURA and Justice MIYAMA actively exchanged views on various issues including digitalization of court procedure, the meeting ended in a friendly atmosphere.
