Motto, hobbies, etc.

Things to Keep in Mind as a Justice

In my work thus far, I have placed importance on an attitude to squarely and sincerely deal with things and make efforts. Always keeping in mind the roles that the judiciary and justice should play, I will face each case with sincerity, care about the facts in question, consider the case from multifaceted and multilateral perspectives, and endeavor to have thorough discussions. I will make my best efforts in good faith.

Favorite Word

Although I do not have any particular motto, I do like a saying, "Your efforts will never betray you." Even when your efforts do not lead to the expected results, I believe that the act of making the efforts itself is a valuable experience.

Books that Left an Impression on Me

I simply read books that interest me, and seldom reread them, but there are few that I have reread several times, including "Galileo's Finger" (Peter Atkins, et al.), "Gosan no Ronri (The Logic of Miscalculation)" (Kojima Noboru), "Leaders" (Richard Nixon), "The Music of the Primes" (Marcus du Sautoy), and "Shippai no Honshitsu (Essence of Failure)" (Tobe Ryoichi, et al.).

How to spend my personal time

I enjoy walking and swimming to keep healthy. When I have time, I refresh my mood by reading a history or science book, or by listening to music.
