Motto, hobbies, etc.

Things to Keep in Mind as a Justice

I think it is important to face each and every case sincerely and straightforwardly and make a judgment, and to do so, it is important to read case records with an open mind and hear opinions of many people humbly.

Favorite Words

Thorough deliberation. I will carry out thorough deliberation with other Justices at the Supreme Court through mutual sharing of wisdom.

Books that Left an Impression on Me

All the written works of Mr. SHIBA Ryotaro. After visiting the Saka No Ue No Kumo Museum in Matsuyama City and the Shiba Ryotaro Memorial Museum in Higashiosaka City, I have been rereading his works.
I also like the written works of Ms. TAKADA Kaoru.

Hobbies

I have been taking walks in order to maintain good health. My favorite hobby is watching sports (especially professional baseball games), but I am also interested in bunraku (Japanese puppet play) and the Takarazuka Revue since I was recommended to watch them in theaters when I worked in Osaka.
