Things to Keep in Mind as a Justice
As a Justice, I will sincerely and diligently deal with every cases one by one and make a fair and reasonable judgment with all my efforts, without prejudice, listening to diverse opinions, discussing with my colleagues sufficiently. I will continue to improve my professional capabilities every day, keeping in mind that judgments rendered by the Supreme Court can have a significant impact on not only the parties but also society.
Favorite Words
"It's all right, I’ll figure it out."
Although I tend to deeply consider when I need to make an important decision in my job or life, I encourage myself by saying "It's all right, I’ll figure it out," and then take a step forward.
Books that Left an Impression on Me
IZUMI Kyoka, dramas titled "Tenshu Monogatari" (Tale of a Castle Keep) and "Yashagaike" (Demon Pond), and short-story novels titled "Shunchū"(One Day in Spring), "Shunchū Gokoku"(Sequel of One Day in Spring) and "Kusameikyū" (Grass Labyrinth)
UCHIDA Hyakken, "Sarasāte no Ban" (Disk of Sarasate) (The film "Zigeunerweisen", directed by SUZUKI Seijun and based on this novel, was also impressive.)
ONDA Riku, "Mitsubachi to Enrai" (Honey Bees and Distant Thunder) (I felt like I was listening to music while reading this novel. I enjoyed both the visuals and the music, watching the movie based on this novel.)
Hobbies
I like watching plays, especially Japanese traditional stage performances, such as Kabuki and Bunraku.
I also enjoy various kinds of entertainment content (music, movies, TV programs, comics, novels, etc.). I usually listen to classical music at home as background music, but I often listen, while on the train or at a sports gym, to music by YONEZU Kenshi, FUJII Kaze, King Gnu, and YOASOBI.
Playing golf and traveling are common pastimes with my husband. We enjoy them together when we have time.
