The Honorable Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, visited Japan in response to the invitation of the Supreme Court of Japan, and stayed from March 3 through March 9, 2019. Chief Justice Binh paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice Otani of the Supreme Court of Japan and held discussions with Chief Justice Otani and other Justices. Chief Justice Binh, who has a great interest in the judicial system of Japan, visited the Tokyo District Court, the Kyoto Family Court and the Ministry of Justice and strengthened exchanges with the persons concerned. During his visit, extensive judicial exchanges between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Japan were developed.
