Errata in Court Decisions Posted on the Japanese Version of the Court Website and in the Supreme Court Civil and Criminal Case Law Report

It has been found that there are several errata in the descriptions of some Supreme Court decisions delivered between 1948 and 1997 posted on the Japanese version of the Court's website and in the Supreme Court Civil and Criminal Case Law Report, compared with the descriptions in the actual decisions.

The Court is profoundly concerned about this and will conduct an appropriate investigation etc. about them including the descriptions in the same decisions which have been already posted on the English version of our website.
